BAMBOO FOUNTAIN
"Bamboo Fountain" was created April 13, 2006 by İgardenbyocean designs.
This tutorial was written in PSP9 but can be done in PSPX and earlier versions too.
You will need Paint Shop Pro 9 ~ a 30 day trial program can be downloaded here
A tube of your choice or download the bamboo fountain here. Filters (optional): Filter Unlimited 2.0 and Graphics Plus "Panel Stripes"
OK, Let's Sail!
Open a new transparent image 425 X 475
Flood fill with #e9bd5f and name this layer "Background"
Effects>Graphic Plus>Panel Stripes with the following settings:
Next go to Effects>Filter Unlimited>Paper Textures>Japanese Paper, Intensity at 57, lightness at 127
If you desire a frame or border add it now and also your watermark.
Copy>Paste the Fountain Tube as a new layer, rename it fountain.
duplicate this tube layer 2 times for a total of 3 layers.
"X" the eyes on the background layer and the 2 fountain copy layers
highlight the fountain original layer
take your freehand selection tool and go around the water (no need to be precise here :-),
go to Adjust>Add/remove noise>Add Noise>random at 30
DO NOT DESELECT!
now close the eye on this tube layer and highlight the 1st Fountain Copy
go to adjust>add/remove noise>Add>random 45
now close this layer and go to your last Fountain Copy, highlight,
go to adjust>add/remove noise>Add>random 60
Select None now........
duplicate your Background layer 2 times. Now you have 3 background layers and 3 fountain layers.
Take your bottom background layer and your tube fountain original Close this merged layer eye and take the next copy background and fountain copy tube and "X" the eyes of the other copies and the merged layer. Again do this for the final background copy and the final fountain copy layer. The 2 merged layers are now "X"'d.
Save each merged layer as an Animation Shop image [*.psp]. Go to Animation shop>.....Wizard........and respond with the following; same size as first>Transparent>Upper Left Corner>with canvas color>Yes>10 Guess what? The voyage is over we are back in port! Hope you enjoyed the cruise!
